Role: ERP Technical Developer (ERP Platform: CGI Advantage ERP 3.11)

Role Overview

The candidates will be responsible for application development, production support, troubleshooting, systems integration, and technical maintenance of the CGI Advantage ERP 3.11 platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring the ability to independently develop, test, troubleshoot, and support enterprise ERP applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, test, and deploy custom ERP components, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, Java stack traces, application errors, batch failures, and Oracle database issues.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, inbound/outbound interfaces, interface mappings, and ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Oracle PL/SQL objects, including data validation and performance tuning.
- Support middleware platforms, including JBoss and Oracle Middleware.
- Troubleshoot batch processing jobs using Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
- Support application deployments, configurations, and production operations.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve development productivity.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise application development and support experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Oracle Database, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications and integrations, including REST APIs.




- Experience troubleshooting production issues in enterprise application environments.
- Experience supporting ERP applications in a production environment.
- Knowledge of Java-based enterprise applications and database performance tuning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Preferred / Positive-to-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience with CGI Advantage ERP 3.11.
- Experience with CGI Advantage HCM, Finance, and/or Budget modules.
- Experience with Pentaho Data Integration, ETL processes, XML/JSON data exchange, and interface mapping.
- Experience with JBoss, Oracle Middleware, Linux/Windows, Bash scripting, and Power Shell.
- Experience with Control-M or similar enterprise batch scheduling tools.
- Experience supporting large public-sector ERP environments, implementations, migrations, upgrades, and production support.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise.
- CGI Advantage, Oracle Java, or Oracle Database certifications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for technically strong candidates who can quickly understand the ERP application architecture and independently handle development, integration, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Candidates with direct CGI Advantage ERP 3.11 experience will be highly preferred.
