Key Responsibilities & Duties

ZED Assessment & Gap Analysis:

Conduct baseline diagnostic audits across client manufacturing facilities against official MSME ZED parameters (Quality Management, Safety, Environmental Management, Energy Efficiency, Technology & IP).

Identify operational bottlenecks, waste sources, defect-prone areas, and non-compliances relative to ZED Gold/Silver benchmarks.

Formulate structured action plans, milestone roadmaps, and corrective measure guidelines for plant leadership.

Implementation of Quality & Environmental Systems:

Zero Defect: Guide shop-floor teams in implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Zero Effect: Implement environmental and sustainability initiatives, including energy audits, waste management protocols, pollution control measures, safety (EHS) guidelines, and resource optimization.

Streamline shop-floor documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process control charts, and calibration schedules.

Handholding & Certification Support:

Guide client MSMEs through registration, self-assessment, document preparation,



and evidence uploading on the official ZED portal.

Act as the primary liaison during desktop verification and site assessment audits conducted by QCI (Quality Council of India) approved accredited assessors.

Assist management in securing government subsidies, incentives, and bank concession advantages linked to ZED certification levels.

Training & Capability Building:

Design and deliver interactive training modules for shop-floor supervisors, machine operators, and managers on ZED principles, shop-floor discipline, and safety protocols.

Foster a continuous improvement culture (Lean Manufacturing) across all levels of the organization.
