Formwork Engineer

Role Purpose

The Formwork Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, documentation, and technical support of formwork and scaffolding systems for residential high-rise projects. The role will ensure that formwork solutions are protected, structurally reliable, efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with project specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

The position will work closely with architects, structural engineers and site teams to integrate formwork designs with overall project requirements and provide technical support during installation and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design formwork and scaffolding systems based on the requirements of residential high-rise projects.

• Conduct structural analysis to ensure the safety and stability of formwork systems under various loading conditions.

• Prepare detailed design calculations, approval drawings, method statements,



and work procedures in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and site teams to integrate formwork designs with overall project plans.

• Estimate formwork material quantities and support procurement planning.

• Provide technical support during formwork installation and resolve site-level technical issues or required modifications.

• Ensure formwork designs and installations comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Incorporate safety considerations into formwork designs to protect workers and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Stay updated on advancements in formwork technologies and recommend cutting-edge solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Maintain design and documentation standards in accordance with ISO systems.

Qualification & Experience

• BE / B. Tech/ Diploma in Civil Engineering.

• 2 to 7 years of experience.

• Experience/exposure in Formwork, Shuttering, Aluminium Formwork, Mivan, and High-Rise Residential Buildings.
