Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability of the system. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with various teams to align solutions with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Utilizing a combination of standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms, the engineer continuously adapts and enhances the applications to meet agile operational needs in a seamless manner.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system reliability.
Document configuration changes and maintain explicit records of application modifications.
Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Node.js.
Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
Understanding of version control systems and continuous integration workflows.
Ability to work with low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Node.js.
This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
