Technical Lead .NET / Backend

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Lead – .NET/Backend who can take end-to-end technical ownership of backend development, guide the development team, and contribute hands-on to architecture, design, development, integration, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable backend solutions using C#, .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
Define technical approach, architecture, design patterns, and development standards.
Design and develop RESTful APIs, Web APIs and system integrations.
Design and optimize Oracle, SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures.
Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards, security, performance, and maintainability.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers.
Analyse complex technical issues and drive resolution.
Coordinate with QA, DevOps, frontend teams, architects, and project stakeholders.
Participate in estimation, technical planning, task breakdown, and delivery planning.
Ensure timely delivery of backend components and technical commitments.
Support production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Identify opportunities for performance,



scalability, and code-quality improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and design specifications.

Required Skills
6–8 years of experience in .NET/C# development.
Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
Strong experience in REST API development and system integrations.
Strong SQL Server and database development experience.
Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core.
Robust understanding of OOP, SOLID, design patterns and clean architecture.
Experience with application security, authentication, and authorization.
Valuable understanding of microservices and scalable application design.
Experience with Git, CI/CD and Agile/Scrum.
Solid debugging, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
Ability to mentor developers and conduct effective code reviews.

Good to Have
Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL and Azure DevOps.
Docker/Kubernetes.
Messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
Redis/caching.
OAuth2/JWT/Azure AD/Entra ID.
Experience with GIS, enterprise applications, or integration-heavy projects.
