We are seeking an experienced Statistician – Pre-Clinical Discovery R&D; with solid expertise in core statistics, Design of Experiments (DoE), and R programming to support statistical analysis, experimental design, and data-driven decision-making across pharmaceutical research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
Apply advanced statistical methods to pharmaceutical R&D; and scientific research projects.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments using Design of Experiments (DoE).
Perform statistical analysis, modelling, and data interpretation using R programming.
Support drug substance, drug product, analytical method development, and regulatory activities.
Apply statistical model selection techniques and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with scientific teams to understand requirements and deliver statistical solutions.
Support process characterization, method validation,



stability analysis, and shelf-life predictions.

Mandatory Requirements
3–10 years of relevant hands-on statistical experience.
PhD or MSc in Statistics (MSc strictly from IIT/ISI).
Strong proficiency in R programming for statistical analysis and modelling.
Practical experience in Design of Experiments (DoE).
Robust knowledge of core statistical methodologies, statistical modelling, and results interpretation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Willingness to work the 1 PM – 10 PM IST shift.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
Knowledge of chemistry, biology, or engineering applications.
Exposure to process characterization, analytical method transfer, validation, and stability studies.
Familiarity with Spotfire, Tableau, or databases.

Note: Candidates must meet the mandatory educational qualifications and possess practical experience in Statistics, DoE, and R programming.
