We are seeking a System Architect to lead the architecture and engineering quality of our algorithmic trading platform, ensuring it remains high performing, reliable and scalable.

Responsibilities
Design modular, scalable systems and lead key technical decisions
Optimise latency, throughput and resilience; and eliminate bottlenecks
Own CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, coding standards and observability




Contribute code for legacy refactoring and critical architectural changes

Requirements
Robust experience in software architecture, distributed systems and high performance computing
Advanced Python skills, including performance optimisation, concurrency and data processing
Experience with databases, caching, messaging systems, CI/CD and production infrastructure
Sound judgment in diagnosing complex system issues and making architectural trade offs

Preferred: Algo trading or low latency finance, market data and order execution, Linux/networking/monitoring, codebase modernisation.

An engineer who owns the whole system. Mainly architecture and quality, with coding secondary.
