Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical design drawings for building projects.
Design and review HT/LT electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and small power systems.
Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load schedules, panel schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop and short-circuit calculations.
Design and review requirements for Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, APFC panels and electrical panels.
Design and review earthing and lightning protection systems.
Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, IBMS and Architectural teams.
Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical documents.
Conduct design coordination meetings with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
Attend site visits and resolve electrical design and coordination issues.
Ensure designs comply with applicable NBC, IS, IEC standards and local regulations.
Review contractor submissions and provide technical comments.
Support projects from concept design through detailed design and construction stages.
Guide and support junior engineers and CAD/BIM team members.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
Attend client meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
