Role Summary

Responsible for Linux shell scripting, cron job scheduling, batch job monitoring, troubleshooting job failures, and supporting production settings.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Bash/Shell scripts.
Create, manage, and monitor Cron jobs.
Investigate job failures and perform root cause analysis.
Validate job dependencies and execution sequences.
Analyze Linux logs and system issues.
Support production incidents and scheduled releases.
Document job flows and recovery procedures.

Linux/Unix Administration
Shell Scripting (Bash)
Cron Job Scheduling
grep, awk, sed, tail
Process Monitoring
File System Management
Basic SQL knowledge

Key Expectations
Understand end-to-end batch processing workflows.
Quickly identify job execution issues.
Coordinate with application and database teams.
Prepare RCA and operational documentation.
