Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist or Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Duties will include typing out prescriptions, retrieving medicines for patients, and explaining prescription information to patients.
Responsibilities :
Accurately type out prescriptions according to the notes given by the doctors.
Retrieve prescribed medications and other healthcare products for patients.
Provide friendly and skilled customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Explain prescription information, dosage instructions, and potential side effects to patients.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare specialists to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and company policies regarding medication dispensing and patient confidentiality.
Requirements :
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy in prescription typing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices.
Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of pharmacy software systems.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
