Role To support students’ emotional, social, and behavioural wellbeing and work closely with teachers and parents to ensure student welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to students
Support students with emotional, behavioural, or adjustment concerns
Work closely with teachers, wellness staff, and school leadership
Maintain confidentiality and counselling records
Guide students on coping skills, stress management, and wellbeing
Conduct awareness sessions for students when required
Communicate with parents in consultation with school leadership
Refer cases to external specialists when necessary
Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate qualification in Psychology / Counselling Relevant certification or licence preferred Experience working in a school environment preferred Solid listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
