Patient Registration & HMS Entry

Role Overview

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the hospital. The role involves patient registration, appointment management, guiding patients within the hospital, handling calls, and maintaining proper records in the HMS system.

Key Responsibilities
Register all current OPD and IPD patients in the HMS system.
Ensure correct entry of patient details (Name, Age, Contact, Address, UHID).
Verify documents such as Aadhaar, Ayushman card, etc.

Appointment & OPD Management
Manage doctor appointments and OPD queues.
Inform patients about doctor availability and waiting time.
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for smooth patient flow.

Patient Guidance
Guide patients to relevant departments (OPD, IPD, Lab, Pharmacy, Billing).
Explain hospital processes to patients and attendants.
Maintain polite and helpful communication with all visitors.

Call Handling
Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information.
Transfer calls to relevant departments when required.




Record key inquiries and patient leads.

Billing Coordination
Coordinate with billing team for OPD charges and receipts.
Inform patients about consultation charges and hospital policies.

Document & Record Management
Maintain patient files and registration records properly.
Ensure all forms are filled and signed correctly.

Coordination with Departments
Coordinate with nursing, lab, pharmacy, and billing teams.
Ensure smooth communication between departments.

Skills Required :
Valuable communication skills (Hindi required, basic English preferred)
Basic computer knowledge (HMS / MS Excel / Data Entry)
Polite behaviour and patient handling skills
Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks

Qualification
Graduate preferred (Any stream)
Minimum 1 year experience in hospital / clinic reception preferred

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
