Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and functional specifications to understand testing scope
Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
Perform different types of testing such as:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Smoke testing
Sanity testing
UI/UX testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members
Prepare test reports and share test results with stakeholders
Ensure software meets quality standards before release
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic to solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) :
Knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies
Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans :
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Valuable communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Knowledge of SQL basics :
Basic understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology :
Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium) is a plus
