Role Overview

The UAV Pilot Engineer / Test Pilot is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness, performance validation, and operational readiness of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), including both fixed-wing and multirotor platforms. The role combines hands-on flight testing, maintenance and inspection activities, flight log analysis and preparation of detailed test and operational reports to support engineering, certification and customer deployment requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute UAV test flights in accordance with approved test plans, safety standards and Flying SOPs.
Conduct post-assembly, post-repair and validation flights to ensure airworthiness and performance.
Operate fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs for endurance, performance, and system validation trials.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, risk assessments and system readiness checks.
Support field trials, customer demonstrations and operational evaluations.




Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and clearance flight testing.
Perform UAV assembly, disassembly, preventive maintenance and repairs as per SOPs.
Inspect UAVs to identify damage, abnormalities or performance deviations.
Monitor telemetry, record flight data and analyze logs using standard GCS tools.
Troubleshoot issues related to autopilot tuning, communication links and payload integration.
Prepare flight test reports, maintain flight records and update technical documentation.
Coordinate with engineering teams and support DGCA compliance and regulatory activities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
