We are looking for a Stores Assistant to support store operations by handling inventory, maintaining records, and assisting in the receipt and dispatch of materials. The role ensures proper storage and accurate tracking of materials in the store.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, checking, and storing materials in the warehouse/store.
Maintain stock records and inventory registers.
Verify delivery challans, invoices, and material quantity during receipt.
Assist in issuing materials to different departments as per requirement.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
Support in stock counting and inventory audits.
Update stock details in Excel or inventory software.
Coordinate with the purchase and accounts department for material records.
Required Skills :
Basic knowledge of inventory management.
Valuable organizational and record-keeping skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a team setting.
