Key Qualifications for Assistant Professor of Anatomy (NMC Norms) :
Non-Medical Faculty Limits : The proportion of non-medical teachers is restricted to up to 15% of the total faculty strength in the Anatomy department.
Key Considerations : Non-medical faculty cannot become Head of the Department (HoD) or Principal.
2025 Updates : Under updated regulations, 2 years of experience as a Specialist/Medical Officer in a Government Hospital (220+ beds) can also count towards eligibility. NMC +4
