We are looking for an Architect who can develop practical, effective and aesthetically appealing designs for prefabricated and modular buildings.
The candidate will work closely with the structural, civil, production and site teams to convert architectural concepts into manufacturable and executable prefab solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts and layouts for prefab buildings.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections and detailed architectural drawings.
- Develop modular layouts considering standard prefab component sizes.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with structural systems.
- Prepare detailed drawings suitable for manufacturing and site installation.
- Coordinate door, window, facade, flooring, ceiling and interior requirements.
- Coordinate openings and service requirements with MEP consultants.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings from the production team.
- Ensure architectural designs are practical for transportation, lifting and erection.
- Optimize designs to reduce material wastage and construction cost.
- Prepare material and finish schedules.
- Prepare BOQ and quantity estimates where required.
- Coordinate with clients and understand their design requirements.
- Attend regularvsite visits and resolve issues during execution.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, structural engineers, production teams and contractors.
- Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of architectural planning and detailing.
- Understanding of prefab/modular construction principles.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Create effective 3d models to present client in revit/sketchup
- Create practical render.
- Understanding of building materials and construction methods.
- Good knowledge of dimensions, detailing and construction coordination.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations and drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
