About the Role

Agonda Palm Beach Resort is looking for a hardworking, reliable and energetic Kitchen Utility / Dishwasher to join our restaurant team at The Rolling Sea.

This is a hands-on, all-rounder position involving dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, hygiene, waste disposal and assisting the kitchen team with daily operations.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently and is willing to assist wherever required.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash, clean and sanitise plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, sinks, drains, workstations and equipment.
- Sweep, scrub and mop kitchen floors regularly, including underneath equipment.
- Clean cooking equipment, storage shelves, refrigerators and preparation areas as assigned.
- Maintain proper waste segregation and dispose of kitchen waste regularly.
- Keep dishwashing and pot-washing areas clean, organised and hygienic.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, washing vegetables and organising supplies when required.
- Receive, carry, arrange and store kitchen supplies.
- Follow proper food safety, personal hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Complete daily opening, closing, cleaning and hygiene checklists.
- Assist with scheduled deep cleaning of kitchen equipment, exhaust areas, storage spaces and floors.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues or hygiene concerns immediately.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Ensure all assigned cleaning duties are completed before leaving the shift.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in kitchen utility, dishwashing or hotel/restaurant cleaning preferred.




- Freshers willing to learn and work hard are welcome.
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting and active kitchen duties.
- Willing to wash utensils, scrub floors, clean drains and perform deep-cleaning tasks.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Honest, punctual, disciplined and responsible.
- Able to follow instructions and complete daily checklists.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Willing to work long or split shifts, weekends and public holidays within applicable labour laws.
- Flexible with duty rosters and scheduled weekly offs.
- Comfortable working as part of a small, hands-on team.

Seasonal Employment & Working Hours

This is a seasonal position, generally from September/October until May or early June.

Our restaurant operates from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Duty timings may include long or split shifts depending on kitchen operations.

Weekly offs are scheduled according to business requirements, with legally required breaks, rest and overtime arrangements.

Candidates must be comfortable with seasonal employment.
