Position: Commis-I (Chinese)
Department: Food & Beverage Production / Kitchen
Reports To: Chef de Partie – Chinese / Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Experience: 2–4 years in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a hotel or reputed restaurant.

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Chinese dishes while maintaining food quality, consistency, hygiene, and kitchen standards in accordance with hotel procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes, including starters, soups, noodles, rice, sauces, and main courses.
- Assist in daily kitchen operations, mise en place, and food preparation.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
- Maintain proper food storage, stock rotation, and adherence to FIFO procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Coordinate with senior chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service operations.




- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and hotel operating procedures.
- Assist in menu preparation, current dish trials, and special food requirements as directed by senior chefs.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant culinary qualification preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
- Good knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, and wok handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is essential.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
