We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in financial services and trading applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing, end-to-end testing, API testing, database testing, and FIX Protocol.

The role involves working with Agile development teams to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of banking and trading applications. The candidate will participate in test planning, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and production release validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyse business requirements and user stories to identify testing requirements and assess testability.
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test data across multiple environments.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for trading and financial applications.
- Perform FIX Protocol testing and validate order management, market connectivity, client connectivity, and execution management workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira and other testing tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and support teams to investigate and resolve defects.
- Perform API testing and validate JSON and XML messages.
- Conduct database testing and validate data integrity across interconnected systems.
- Support application releases through post-deployment testing and production validation.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and evidence in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and report application quality, testing progress, and defect trends.
- Contribute to regression test planning and identify opportunities for test automation.




- Support knowledge sharing and provide guidance to application support teams during production transitions.

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester within the financial services industry, preferably in trading applications.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with FIX Protocol.
- Good understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS), market and client connectivity, and Execution Management Systems (EMS).
- Knowledge of end-to-end trading workflows across multiple integrated systems.
- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience in API testing and database testing.
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot JSON and XML files/messages.
- Scripting or programming experience in C# (preferred), Java, VB.NET, or another programming language.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.

Good to Have

- Experience with end-to-end testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca or RPA-based testing solutions.
- Exposure to Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Xray or other test management tools.
- Experience testing both in-house developed and vendor-based applications.
- Knowledge of automated regression testing and continuous testing practices.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
