Sapience Edu Connect is an education technology company focused on personalized learning, one-to-one learning assistance, technology-enabled education and student development. We are building digital solutions that combine education, software and AI to improve learning experiences and streamline educational operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI & Technology Intern who is interested in software development, practical AI applications and solving real-world technical problems.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will work with our existing technology systems, particularly our Learning Management System (LMS), assist with debugging and testing, develop small software features, explore AI tools and build internal automation solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning by building, experimenting with technology and converting ideas into working solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. LMS Development and Maintenance

- Assist in maintaining and improving the company's Learning Management System.
- Identify, reproduce, test and troubleshoot software bugs.
- Support the development and testing of new features and APIs.
- Help maintain technical documentation and track unresolved issues.
- Assist with application testing and deployment under supervision.

2. Software Development

- Develop small web application features and internal tools.
- Work with backend APIs, databases and existing codebases.
- Write clean, maintainable code and document technical changes.
- Use Git and version control for collaborative development.

3. AI and Automation

- Explore practical applications of AI tools and APIs.
- Develop straightforward automations to reduce repetitive manual work.
- Build prototypes using AI-assisted coding tools where appropriate.
- Evaluate new technologies and demonstrate their practical usefulness through working solutions.

4. Testing and Technical Support

- Test application features before release.
- Maintain a structured bug tracker and report technical issues.




- Help improve system reliability, usability and performance.
- Follow secure coding practices and established development procedures.

5. Research and Innovation

- Research relevant technologies in AI, educational technology and software development.
- Develop proof-of-concepts for selected ideas.
- Support future technology initiatives, including Sapience Happiness, based on project requirements.

Required Skills

- Basic programming knowledge in Python or another relevant programming language.
- Understanding of web applications, APIs and databases.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Willingness to debug problems, test software and learn unfamiliar technologies.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and verify the code they generate.
- Good analytical thinking, documentation and problem-solving skills.

Candidates do not need to know every technology listed. We value practical skills, learning ability and the willingness to take ownership of assigned work.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from B.Tech / B.E. Computer Science, IT, MCA, BCA and related graduates, as well as candidates with equivalent practical development skills.

Freshers with relevant projects, GitHub repositories or working prototypes are encouraged to apply.

We are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy solving problems independently, learning new technologies and building useful solutions rather than relying entirely on step-by-step instructions.
