Job Title : Production Executive – Printing Line

We are seeking a results-driven Production Executive to oversee our printing line operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day shop floor activities, ensuring high-quality output, optimizing machine efficiency, and meeting daily production targets. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of printing processes (offset, digital, or packaging), excellent supervisory skills, and a strong commitment to minimizing wastage.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of printed materials.
- Line Supervision: Oversee printing press operators, binding, finishing, and packing teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted workflow.
- Quality Control (QC): Perform regular quality audits on the production line to verify text layout, alignment, and color profiles against approved client benchmarks.
- Machine Efficiency: Oversee the proper setup, operation, and preventive maintenance of offset, web, or digital printing machines.
- Wastage & Cost Control: Monitor raw material consumption (paper, ink, plates) to minimize floor wastage and optimize operational costs.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the store and purchase teams to ensure seamless availability of raw materials.
- Reporting:



Maintain detailed Daily Production Reports (DPR), log machine downtime, and submit performance summaries to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience as a Production Executive or Line Supervisor in a printing press, publishing house, or packaging unit.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with pre-press, offset/digital printing machines, post-press processes, binding, and finishing lines.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with design outputs (CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) and basic ERP or Excel tools for production data tracking is preferred.
- Core Competencies: Solid leadership, quick problem-solving, and the ability to work under tight delivery timelines.

Education

- Diploma or Degree in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. (Open to highly experienced candidates with basic educational backgrounds).
