Job Overview:

We are looking for a Price Manager to get and update steel prices in the region. Your main role will be to onboard steel manufacturers and re-sellers, get their daily prices and list them on to our portal. Build robust relationships with them to ensure they stay active and successful on Hashtagsteel. You will work closely with our internal teams to make sure the seller information on our platform is always accurate, up-to-date, and ready for buyers. This is a key role that helps us bring more sellers online and deliver the right data and value to the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Seller Acquisition & On boarding.

· Identify and onboard relevant steel makers and distributors / sellers (TMT, structural steel, pipes, etc.) across Chennai.

· Get daily prices and update on the portal (Both Wholesale and retail)

· Ensure compliance with documentation, pricing format,



and product quality benchmarks.

Performance Monitoring & Growth.

- Track prices regularly and cross check with peers/ locations
- Work with high-performing sellers to explore exclusive listings or strategic tie ups.
- Provide local market insights to support pricing strategy and regional growth.

Qualifications:

- Graduate/MBA with 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales, supply/vendor management, or steel trade.
- In-depth knowledge of Chennai’s steel market and supplier landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Tech-savvy; comfortable using dashboards, CRM systems, and mobile apps.
- Willingness to travel locally for market visits and seller meetings.

Preferred:

- Experience in the steel, construction materials, or manufacturing sector.
- Exposure to digital commerce platforms or tech-driven B2B ecosystems.
