BIMTECH Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd. is an engineering services company based in Nashik, specializing in Structural Steel Detailing using Tekla Structures. We work on US-based structural steel projects and follow applicable AISC standards and project requirements.
About the Role
We are looking for a Jr. Tekla Modeler with experience in structural steel detailing. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models in Tekla Structures, following project drawings, modeling standards and instructions provided by the senior team.
What You Will Do
Create and update 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
Model beams, columns, bracing and light/miscellaneous steel components as per project requirements.
Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Follow project standards, modeling guidelines and required workflows.
Make corrections based on Checker and Senior Modeler comments.
Maintain model accuracy, quality and productivity.
Coordinate with the team to resolve modeling-related queries.
Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines.
Report technical issues and work progress to the reporting senior.
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Have at least 3to5 years of experience in Tekla Structures.
Have knowledge of structural steel detailing and 3D modeling.
Can read and understand structural drawings.
Have basic knowledge of steel members, profiles, bolts and connections.
Can follow project standards and instructions accurately.
Have valuable attention to detail and time-management skills.
Can communicate technical queries clearly.
Strong Candidates May Also Have
Experience in US structural steel projects.
Knowledge of AISC standards.
Experience with Tekla Model Sharing and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience in light and miscellaneous steel modeling.
Good understanding of model checking and correction procedures.
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
