We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Project manager( Civil ) – Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to take complete responsibility for our industrial PMC operations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up PMC processes, managing multiple industrial construction projects, deploying and supervising site teams, monitoring project budgets and schedules, ensuring quality compliance, managing contractor performance and maintaining client relationships.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial understanding and hands-on experience in industrial construction management.

Key Responsibilities

1. PMC Division Development & Operations

- Establish and manage the complete PMC division.
- Develop standardized procedures, checklists, reporting formats and project management systems.
- Recruit, train, deploy and supervise Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Planning Engineers and other project personnel.
- Manage multiple industrial construction projects across different locations.
- Establish performance monitoring systems for site teams and contractors.

2. Project Planning & Execution

- Lead projects from preconstruction planning through execution, commissioning and handover.
- Prepare and review project schedules, construction sequences and execution strategies.
- Monitor civil, RCC, PEB, industrial flooring, external development, infrastructure and MEP works.
- Identify project delays, construction challenges and technical risks.
- Coordinate corrective actions and recovery schedules.

3. Quality Assurance & Technical Supervision

- Establish project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems.
- Supervise inspections, testing procedures, contractor quality plans and workmanship standards.
- Monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, relevant IS codes and project requirements.
- Review NCRs, inspection reports, testing records and corrective action closure.
- Coordinate technical clarifications with design consultants.

Project Cost & Commercial Management

- Monitor project budgets, cash flow and cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Review contractor measurements, running account bills and variation claims.
- Assist clients in tendering, procurement and contractor evaluation.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations.
- Identify and recommend cost optimization opportunities.

5. Client & Contractor Management

- Act as a senior-level point of contact for industrial clients.
- Conduct project review meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Lead technical and commercial coordination meetings.
- Resolve execution-related issues through structured communication.
- Prepare management reports and present project performance to clients.

6. Project Reporting & Digital Systems

- Implement standardized Daily Progress Reports, Weekly Progress Reports and Monthly MIS.
- Establish centralized cloud-based project documentation and drawing control.
- Manage project trackers for schedules, procurement, RFIs, NCRs, safety observations and contractor billing.
- Implement digital site inspection and reporting processes.
- Maintain management dashboards covering time, cost, quality, risks and project progress.

7. Business Development & Commercial Growth

- Support management in identifying and developing recent industrial PMC opportunities.
- Participate in client presentations, technical meetings and PMC proposal preparation.
- Prepare manpower deployment plans, PMC cost estimates and commercial proposals.
- Maintain customer relationships and identify repeat business opportunities.
- Manage division profitability, resource utilization and operational performance.

Required Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
- At least 5 years in a senior project management or multi-project leadership role.
- Proven experience in industrial factories, manufacturing plants, PEB buildings, warehouses or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing projects with construction values of ₹20 crore or above.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, execution, QA/QC, billing, procurement and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Excel and digital project management tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, reporting and negotiation abilities.
- Willingness to travel to industrial project sites across India.

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP certification or postgraduate qualification in Construction / Project Management.
- Prior experience working with a reputed PMC or engineering consultancy organization.
- Experience establishing a new PMC division or leading regional PMC operations.
- Knowledge of PEB construction, industrial flooring, fire protection and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Zoho Projects, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar project management platforms.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.

- Project team productivity and manpower utilization.
- Accuracy and timeliness of management reporting.
- PMC division revenue, profitability and growth.
