Legal Associate – International Trade Law

About us

We advise foreign producers and exporters, domestic industries, governments, and multinationals in matters before DGTR, the Ministry of Finance (India), USDOC, the European Commission, GCC authorities, and WTO panels.
The role
You will support anti-dumping, countervailing duty (CVD), safeguard, customs, WTO, and FTA/RTA matters, with direct exposure to high-impact cross-border cases and client engagements.
What you’ll do
- Support anti-dumping, CVD, safeguard, and customs investigations and advisory assignments
- Research international trade laws, WTO provisions, and FTAs/RTAs
- Draft legal submissions, rebuttals, case briefs, and opinions, and assist at hearings before domestic and international authorities
- Assist with appeals and writ petitions before Tribunals and High Courts
- Analyse trade, customs, and financial data to support submissions
- Coordinate with clients, authorities, and internal teams to meet deadlines
What we’re looking for
- LL.B. from a recognised university
- 2–3 years of experience in international trade law, trade remedies, customs, WTO policy, or regulatory advisory
- Robust legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
- Willingness to travel for client engagements when required
- Consulting or trade advisory experience preferred
