Job Description – Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate recording of expenses, provisions, accruals, and fixed assets.
- Prepare VAT Declaration monthly or quarterly.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify discrepancies and implement improvements in accounting processes.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting programm.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks / Tally / SAP / Zoho, MS Excel, and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Experience in ledger scrutiny,



reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred Experience

- 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in handling complete accounting operations independently.
- Practical knowledge of taxation, audit coordination, and financial reporting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Timely filing of statutory returns and tax payments.
- Completion of monthly account closing within deadlines.
- Accuracy of bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Effective management of receivables and payables.
- Compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
