Accounting Assistant

Working Days: Monday–Friday
Working Hours: 5:30 AM–1:30 PM IST

Reliance Real Estate is expanding its offshore support team, and we’re looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our growing network!

Working closely with our Australian-based Finance and Operations teams, you’ll help maintain accurate financial records and ensure our day-to-day accounting processes run smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accounts payable: Enter approved invoices in Xero, check GST and coding details, and maintain supplier documentation.
- Xero & reconciliations: Assist with data entry, bank-feed reviews, account reconciliations and discrepancy reporting under supervision.
- Financial reporting: Prepare and update finance spreadsheets, reports, expense trackers and reconciliation records.
- Document management: Maintain organised invoice registers, supporting records and clear audit trails.
- Finance administration: Support expense and corporate-card administration and follow up missing information or approvals.




- Audit & team support: Collate financial documents for reviews and assist Australian-based Finance and Operations teams.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Practical experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and reconciliations.
- Robust numerical accuracy, attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Clear written English, integrity and discretion with confidential information.
- Ability to work independently, follow approval processes and meet deadlines.
- Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping or finance administration highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Australian GST and experience supporting Australian businesses remotely highly desirable.
