ABOUT THE CHANNEL

We are building a new faceless Hindi YouTube channel.

Our goal is to create high-quality, cinematic/documentary-style videos that combine education, entertainment, and storytelling. We are looking for a creative and reliable freelance video editor who can transform scripts and narration into visually engaging videos that capture viewers' attention and encourage them to watch until the end and compels them to follow.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Edit long-form YouTube videos of approximately 15–18 minutes.
- Create cinematic/documentary-style videos using relevant footage, photographs, satellite imagery.
- Use engaging transitions, smooth camera movements, zoom effects, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Add background music, ambient sounds, sound effects, and audio mixing to enhance the viewing experience.
- Maintain an appropriate balance between informative content and entertainment.
- Maintain strong pacing, visual variety, and audience retention throughout the video.
- Ensure all footage, music, images, and other assets are properly licensed or otherwise permitted for commercial use.
- Deliver high-quality, copyright-conscious videos ready for YouTube publication.
- Incorporate reasonable revisions and meet agreed deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing software.
- Experience editing educational, documentary, geography, history, science, or storytelling videos.
- Knowledge of cinematic colour grading, sound design, audio synchronization, and motion graphics.
- Ability to work with geographical maps, satellite visuals, stock footage, and archival imagery.




- Robust understanding of YouTube audience retention and visual storytelling.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

- Video Duration: 15–18 minutes per video.
- Monthly Workload: Approximately 4 videos per month.
- Content Language: Hindi.
- Content Format: Faceless, informative, entertaining, cinematic documentary.
- Scripts and Narration: Provided by the channel owner, as agreed for each project.
- Visual Assets: The channel owner may provide selected images and footage; the editor should be able to identify and source any additional required visuals if needed.
- Final Output: High-quality 16:9 video suitable for YouTube, with properly mixed audio and a polished documentary finish.

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be negotiated based on the candidate's portfolio, editing quality, technical skills, and the scope of work.
