About Cura Veterinary Clinic & the Role
Cura Veterinary Clinic provides comprehensive veterinary care, including preventive care, diagnostics and treatment. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support laboratory diagnostics, front desk operations and inventory management while contributing to compassionate animal care.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory & Diagnostic Support
- Operate CBC machines, microscopes and X-ray equipment, and perform manual biochemistry procedures as trained and authorised.
- Handle samples carefully and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain laboratory hygiene and follow safety protocols.
- Assist the veterinarian with diagnostic workflows.
Front Desk & Client Coordination
- Attend clinic calls between 9 AM and 9 PM as per the assigned schedule.
- Welcome pet parents, coordinate appointments and assist with patient registration.
- Maintain patient records using Practo or similar clinic software.
- Communicate with pet parents in English, Telugu and Hindi.
Inventory & Administration
- Monitor laboratory supplies and clinic inventory.
- Track stock levels and report shortages.
- Maintain basic records using MS Word and Excel.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification or educational background in laboratory technology or a related field.
- Basic understanding of diagnostic equipment; freshers willing to learn are welcome.
- Fluency in English, Telugu and Hindi.
- Positive communication, attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- A responsible, compassionate and proactive approach to animal care.
Work Schedule
- Clinic hours: 9 AM–1 PM and 5 PM–9 PM.
- Three days off per month, excluding weekends.
- Availability required on weekends, festivals and during emergencies, as applicable.
