About the role
SVL Studio is a Mumbai hand-embroidery atelier that exports to European fashion houses. We need an Accountant to own our accounts and compliance in-house: you will be the person who makes sure nothing is filed late.

What you will own

- Day-to-day books in Tally Prime, and checking the junior’s entries
- Accounts payable (verify bills, weekly payment list) and accounts receivable (follow up overdue export invoices)
- GST: reconcile purchases with GSTR-2B, compute liability, file GSTR-1 and 3B, track export refunds (the CA files the refund application)
- TDS: deduct, deposit by the 7th, prepare quarterly returns
- Payroll for our artisan and office team, with EPF, ESIC and Qualified Tax paid and filed on time
- Export records: check invoices and packing lists before dispatch, and track export proceeds (BRC/e-FIRC) and RoDTEP/duty drawback against shipping bills (a consultant files these)
- Bank reconciliation sign-off, books closed by the 10th,



one-page monthly MIS for the Director
- Work with our CA on audit, income tax and ROC

You should have

- 3+ years in accounts with hands-on GST and TDS filing
- Payroll experience including EPF, ESIC and PT
- Tally Prime and Excel
- Export or manufacturing experience (strong plus); CA Inter / B.Com / M.Com

Pay: ₹38,000–45,000 per month, based on experience, plus 3-month probation
Location and hours: On-site, 505 Arun Chambers, Tardeo Road, Mumbai. Monday to Saturday.
How we hire: shortlisting, then an in-person interview and a short written test. No remote rounds.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
