Description

A. Production Operations Execute daily production activities as per the approved production plan and schedule. Supervise manufacturing operations, including dispensing, sifting, granulation, blending, compression, coating, capsule filling, and other applicable processes. Ensure manufacturing activities are performed according to approved BMRs, SOPs, and established process parameters. Monitor production output, yield, cycle time, and equipment utilization. Ensure proper line clearance and equipment readiness before starting manufacturing operations. Coordinate with planning, warehouse, quality assurance, quality control, and engineering teams to achieve production targets. B. GMP & Documentation Ensure strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and applicable regulatory requirements. Review and maintain accurate, complete, and contemporaneous production documentation. Ensure entries in BMRs, equipment logbooks, cleaning records, and other manufacturing documents are completed correctly. Report deviations, incidents, and process abnormalities promptly to the reporting manager and QA. Support investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and change control activities. C. Equipment & Process Management Ensure manufacturing equipment is operated within approved parameters. Coordinate with the engineering team for preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution. Ensure equipment cleaning, status labeling,



and cleaning documentation are completed as per approved procedures. Monitor process performance and identify opportunities to reduce wastage, improve yield, and minimize downtime. D. Manpower Management Allocate and monitor work among production officers, operators, and contract personnel. Ensure adequate manpower availability for planned manufacturing activities. Train team members on SOPs, GMP, safety practices, and process requirements. Monitor employee performance, discipline, productivity, and compliance with departmental procedures. E. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure adherence to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable EHS standards. Maintain housekeeping and positive documentation practices in manufacturing areas. Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections. Ensure appropriate handling of materials, prevention of cross-contamination, and compliance with approved cleaning procedures. Follow applicable controls for product mix-ups, material traceability, and contamination prevention. F. Productivity & Continuous Improvement Monitor daily production performance against targets. Identify and implement improvements in productivity, yield, cycle time, and resource utilization. Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and waste-reduction initiatives. Prepare daily production reports and escalate operational issues to the reporting manager.
