About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, API testing, database validation, and software quality assurance.

Candidates with experience in financial services domains such as banking, fund administration, wealth management, mutual funds, or other financial applications will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of financial applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Validate the accuracy of financial transactions, calculations, reports, and business workflows.
- Perform UI, API, and database testing to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Participate in requirement reviews and identify potential risks, gaps, and edge cases before development and release.

Test Automation & Technical Testing

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
- Write SQL queries to validate database records, data consistency, and transaction accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.




- Support the integration and execution of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, reduce repetitive manual testing, and increase testing efficiency.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

- Work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality software.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Maintain test documentation, defect reports, test execution results, and quality metrics using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of recurring defects and support continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Support release validation and ensure critical defects are resolved before deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

- QA Engineer: 3+ years of experience in software testing.
- Senior QA Engineer: 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.




- Proficiency in SQL and database testing using PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience in defect tracking and test management using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and software quality best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in financial services applications, including banking, fund administration, wealth management, mutual funds, AIFs, or PMS platforms.
- Exposure to financial transaction processing, reconciliation, reporting, and data validation.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing in DevOps workflows.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of security testing and compliance requirements for financial applications.

Work Location & Compensation

- Location: Hyderabad – On-site
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and skills.

Pay: ₹317,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
