HR Executive – Multi-Business Operations

About us
We run three service businesses:

- an LPG distributorship (Numdeepmala Enterprises)
- a 24-hour HPCL fuel station (Baddi Service Station)
- a food outlet with a retail store in Sector 10, Chandigarh (The Farm Kitchen)

About 50 people work across them, from delivery staff and pump attendants to kitchen crew and office teams. Every business serves customers directly, so our people are our service.

About the role
You will run the people side of all three businesses. That means the right person on the right shift, every employee trained and listened to, and HR that runs on clear systems rather than memory.

Key responsibilities

1. Rosters and schedules

- Build and manage weekly rosters for each business:
- 24-hour shift cover at the fuel station, including nights
- Kitchen and store shifts at The Farm Kitchen, planned around peak hours and weekends
- Delivery and godown schedules at the LPG distributorship
- Plan staggered weekly offs so no business is short-staffed on any day
- Arrange quick cover for absences and keep a record of every shift swap
- Share rosters in advance with all employees and managers

2. Weekly training meetings

- Run a weekly meeting for each business, and use each one to train staff
- Every meeting covers:
- a review of last week
- one training module
- a refresher on daily duties




- behaviour and conduct (customer handling, grooming, punctuality)
- staff questions
- Prepare straightforward handouts or demos in Hindi or English
- Plan meeting times so every shift can attend
- Build a 12-week training calendar for each business
- Keep attendance records and check on the floor that training is being followed

3. Training and induction

- Induct every new joiner so they can work from day one using our SOPs
- Run refresher training whenever a mistake or complaint shows a gap
- Keep a record of who was trained, on what, and when

4. Employee engagement

- Visit each business regularly and speak to staff on every shift
- Be the first point of contact for employee concerns, and resolve or escalate them quickly
- Spot early signs of unhappiness and act before people leave

5. HR records and processes

- Maintain the staff register: joiners, leavers, documents
- Track attendance, leave and overtime, and submit month-end attendance on time
- Handle hiring for staff-level roles: posting, screening, interviews, joining
- Manage onboarding and exit formalities
- Put HR policies into practice and make sure staff understand them

What we’re looking for

- 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, fuel,



hospitality, QSR or distribution
- Hands-on experience with rosters for multi-shift or 24-hour teams
- Proven experience training frontline service staff
- Approachable and confident, able to connect with ground staff and managers alike
- Working knowledge of Indian labour law basics
- Good with Excel / Google Sheets
- Fluent in Hindi and English (Punjabi is a plus)
- Willing to travel to Baddi regularly
