We are looking for an experienced and responsible Shop In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our bakery outlet. The candidate will be responsible for sales performance, staff management, customer satisfaction, stock control, cash handling, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shop Operations

- Manage the daily opening and closing of the bakery outlet.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Ensure all products are properly displayed and available for sale.

2. Sales & Target Achievement

- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare daily sales reports.
- Promote new products, special offers, and customised cakes.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.

3. Staff Management

- Supervise sales staff and assign daily duties.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and uniforms.
- Train employees on customer service, product knowledge, and billing.
- Maintain discipline and coordinate staff schedules.

4. Stock & Inventory Management

- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Check product freshness, expiry dates, and quality.
- Maintain proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Report damaged products, wastage, and stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the production and dispatch teams.

5. Cash & Billing Management

- Ensure accurate billing and cash handling.




- Monitor daily cash collections and digital payments.
- Verify sales transactions and daily closing balances.
- Submit daily sales and cash reports to management.

6. Customer Service

- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Ensure professional and friendly customer service.
- Coordinate customised cake orders and delivery arrangements.
- Maintain good customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

7. Reporting & Coordination

- Report daily sales, stock, wastage, and operational issues to management.
- Coordinate with head office regarding promotions and new products.
- Ensure company policies and operating procedures are followed.

Requirements

- Previous experience in bakery, retail, or food shop management is preferred.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Knowledge of sales targets, billing, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage staff and achieve business targets.
- Responsible, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
