Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Purchase Manager with strong experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably from the hospital or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Handle purchase orders, supplier follow-ups and timely delivery.
- Maintain proper purchase records, documentation and vendor details.
- Coordinate with F&B;, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Stores and other departments for their requirements.
- Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with the Stores team to avoid shortages.
- Ensure materials purchased meet the required quality standards.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms and credit facilities with vendors.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with approved suppliers.




- Monitor market prices and identify potential new vendors.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies and approval procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

- Degree or above is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of total purchase/procurement experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant Manager-level purchase role.
- Candidates with experience in hospitals, hotels, hospitality operations are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management and negotiation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and purchase-related documentation.

Important: Candidates without relevant hospital/hospitality industry experience are not preferred.
