Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cypress Automation Trainer to deliver practical, industry-focused training in web automation testing using Cypress.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD, along with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct instructor-led training sessions on Cypress automation testing.
- Teach participants how to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Provide hands-on training with real-world automation projects and testing scenarios.
- Explain Cypress architecture, commands, assertions, fixtures, intercepts, custom commands, and test organization.
- Train participants on web application testing, end-to-end testing, regression testing, and API testing.
- Teach best practices for creating scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Provide coding exercises, assignments, assessments, and practical projects.
- Guide trainees in debugging failed test cases and resolving automation issues.
- Explain test reporting, screenshots, videos, and test execution strategies.
- Provide guidance on integrating Cypress tests with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
- Mentor learners and help them develop practical automation testing skills.




- Keep training content updated with the latest Cypress features and automation practices.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of web application testing and automation testing concepts.
- Experience with Cypress end-to-end and API testing.
- Knowledge of assertions, fixtures, intercepts, custom commands, hooks, and reusable test components.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum and software testing life cycle.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in Cypress automation testing.
- Prior experience as a Cypress Trainer, Automation Trainer, QA Trainer, Technical Trainer, or Mentor is preferred.
- Experience working on real-world automation projects.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or other automation tools is an advantage.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
