- Responsible overall of nursing services for all departments
- Responsible for maintaining duty roster of nurses in case of HOD on leave
- He / She will bring to the notice of medical superintendent all the matters, untoward incidents and happenings in relation to patient care this includes patients’ complaints, medication related issues, medical equipment, furniture and nurses’ grievances.
- Responsible for implementing hospital policies among various nursing units.
- Giving training to nurses about proper nursing care of patients, proper documentation & maintaining proper record in patient’s MRD files.
- To Ensuring secure and efficient care is rendered to patients in various wards.
- Ensuring that all nurses deal with patients in a courteous manner and soft spoken with empathy with the patients and their relatives.
- Educating nursing staff of all categories by conducting awareness programs on universal precautions, ACLS, BLS and CNE’s.
- Ensuring to maintain discipline and punctuality among all the nursing staff.
- Inventory Controls of General items, BME and Medicines




- Investigating all complaints regarding nursing care and personnel and take suitable corrective action.
- Ensuring all the records and registers are maintained properly in the wards by nursing staff.
- Carrying out regular ward rounds of the hospital including surprise checks.
- Accompanying medical superintendent while making hospital rounds.
- Attending hospital meetings and conferences when advised so.
- Recommending personnel and material requirement of the hospital wards and nursing services.
- Working as member of procurement and condemnation of linen and other materials of the wards.
- He/ She should pass on the goals and policies by hospital to the nursing staff.
- Whenever he/she is going on leave he/she will inform the Medical Superintendent and also instruct the Ward Nursing In-charge to look after his/her duties in his/her absence.
- Implementation of NABH work

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
