Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and custom application requirements. The ideal candidate will lead technical solution design, build scalable integrations, mentor junior developers, and ensure high-quality delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, business rules, script includes, and workflows/Flow Designer.
- Lead implementation and enhancement of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Support CSM implementations, including case management, customer service workflows, SLAs, and Service Portal enhancements.
- Architect and develop custom ServiceNow applications based on complex business requirements, following platform best practices and governance standards.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and third-party or internal enterprise systems.
- Develop reports, dashboards, performance analytics, notifications, scheduled jobs, and automated workflows.
- Perform complex data migration, data mapping, and data-quality activities using Import Sets, Transformation Maps, and CMDB data sources.
- Participate in requirement-gathering, solution-design discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and production deployment.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support for critical ServiceNow issues.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, access-control, ACL, and data-privacy requirements.
- Prepare technical design documents, configuration documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Mentor junior developers and review their technical deliverables.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.




- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, Service Catalog, and enterprise workflow automation.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and scheduled scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Workflow, Service Portal, Application Studio, and Update Sets.
- Strong experience in REST API integrations, outbound REST messages, inbound web services, and API authentication methods.
- Experience developing and maintaining custom applications, including tables, fields, forms, lists, related lists, and application scopes.
- Solid understanding of ACLs, roles, groups, delegation, domain separation, and platform security.
- Solid knowledge of CMDB concepts, data sources, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data certification.
- Ability to independently analyze complex requirements and deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with CSM, HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, GRC, Virtual Agent, or Now Assist.
- Exposure to IntegrationHub, MID Server, LDAP, SSO/SAML, OAuth, and event-driven integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF), source control, and CI/CD for ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service-management practices.

Certifications Preferred

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹446,000.00 - ₹2,430,000.00 per year
