About the Role

We are looking for a SEO & Content Marketing Intern who wants to learn and work on real-world SEO, content marketing, and organic growth.

You will work directly on improving the search visibility of our websites and pages, creating SEO-friendly content, building backlinks, and helping increase organic traffic and rankings.

This is a hands-on internship. You won't just be learning SEO theoretically. You will actually work on websites, content, keywords, backlinks, and performance tracking.

What You'll DoSEO & Website Optimization

- Perform keyword research and identify relevant keywords for our target audience.
- Work on On-Page SEO including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, image optimization, and content structure.
- Work on Technical SEO basics such as crawlability, indexing, broken links, redirects, sitemap and robots.txt checks.
- Identify SEO issues on existing website pages and suggest improvements.
- Optimize existing pages to improve their search rankings.
- Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic.
- Work on Local SEO where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve website visibility on Google and other search engines.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

- Research relevant websites and platforms for backlink opportunities.
- Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posts, directories, listings, and other legitimate methods.
- Find relevant websites, blogs, communities, and publications for link-building opportunities.
- Track backlinks and maintain a backlink database.
- Analyze competitors' backlink profiles and identify potential opportunities.

Content Creation





- Research and write SEO-friendly blogs and articles.
- Optimize existing blogs for search engines.
- Create content based on keyword research and search intent.
- Write website pages and supporting SEO content when required.
- Create LinkedIn posts and articles related to our industry and target audience.
- Repurpose existing content into different formats.
- Ensure content is helpful, readable, well-structured, and optimized for SEO.

SEO Research & Reporting

- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Track keyword rankings, clicks, impressions, traffic, backlinks, and other SEO metrics.
- Prepare basic weekly/monthly SEO reports.
- Analyze what is working and what needs improvement.
- Keep up with major SEO and Google search algorithm updates.

- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Good written English.
- Strong research skills.
- Ability to write clear and useful content.
- Willingness to learn SEO tools and techniques.
- Understanding of keywords, search intent, backlinks, and website optimization is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of CMS platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and consistently from home.
- Most importantly, you should be results-oriented and willing to experiment, learn, and improve.

Full-time conversion will be based on your overall performance, consistency, ability to execute SEO strategies, quality of work, and most importantly, the results you deliver during the internship.
