Job Title: SEO Blog Writer Location: Remote - India Role overview

We are hiring an SEO Blog Writer to research brands and their industries, then write blog content that ranks on Google and reads well for real customers. You will also review existing blogs and improve them for SEO. This role suits someone who enjoys research, writes clean and engaging English, and understands how search works.

Responsibilities

- Research client brands, their products, competitors and target

audiences before writing
- Write original, well-structured blog posts for different brands and

industries, matching each brand's tone of voice
- Do keyword research and plan topics around search intent
- Optimize every post for SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, keyword placement, internal and external links, image alt text
- Review and audit existing blogs, then rewrite or update them to improve rankings and readability
- Fact-check content and cite reliable sources
- Keep an editorial calendar and deliver posts on schedule
- Track post performance (traffic, rankings) and use the results to improve future content
- Work with designers, developers and account managers to publish and promote content

Requirements

- Excellent written English (grammar, structure, clarity)

- 1+ years of experience writing blogs or web content, with a portfolio of published samples




- Solid understanding of on-page SEO and how search intent works
- Strong research skills: able to learn a new brand or industry quickly and write about it with confidence
- Able to adapt tone and style to different brands
- Organized, reliable with deadlines, and comfortable working with feedback

Nice to have

- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search

Console or Surfer SEO
- Experience publishing in WordPress or other CMS platforms

- Familiarity with optimizing content for AI search and LLM visibility

- Experience writing for agencies or for clients in several industries

- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
