Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, implementing, and supporting Sterling OMS solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in order management workflows, integrations, APIs, and production support, along with a good understanding of supply chain and e-commerce business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and enhance IBM Sterling OMS applications based on business requirements.
- Configure and customize order management workflows, pipelines, order fulfillment, and inventory management processes.
- Develop and maintain Sterling OMS APIs, services, user exits, agents, and custom business logic.
- Work on order orchestration, order capture, order promising, sourcing, fulfillment, and shipment processes.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Sterling OMS and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and messaging technologies.
- Work with IBM Sterling OMS frameworks, including Service Definition Framework (SDF), XML templates, and configurable business rules.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and resolution of technical issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, deployments,



and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IBM Sterling OMS development.
- Solid hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System.
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SQL, XML, and XSLT.
- Experience with Sterling OMS APIs, services, user exits, agents, and customizations.
- Strong understanding of order management, order fulfillment, inventory, sourcing, and shipment workflows.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and system integrations.
- Knowledge of Sterling OMS configuration, pipelines, business rules, and transaction management.
- Experience with application servers, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with IBM Sterling OMS on Cloud.
- Exposure to IBM Sterling OMS upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or supply chain management projects.
- Knowledge of message queues and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with production support and incident management.
