Role: SAP BODS / Data Migration Consultant Experience: 5-10 Years Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and support SAP BODS ETL solutions. Develop and maintain Jobs, Workflows, Dataflows, Scripts, and Transformations. Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading from multiple source systems. Develop interfaces between SAP ECC/S/4HANA, databases, flat files, and third-party applications. Support large-scale data migration and data-conversion activities. Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and error handling. Develop and maintain batch jobs and schedules for data-processing activities. Monitor BODS jobs and troubleshoot failed or long-running jobs. Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and resolve data-load and performance issues. Optimize BODS jobs and dataflows to improve ETL performance. Support connectivity and integration with databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, and other relevant platforms. Work closely with SAP functional, ABAP, Basis, database, and business teams. Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, and production deployment activities. Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and change requests within agreed SLAs. Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, SOPs, RCA documents,



and operational documentation. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). Solid knowledge of ETL concepts and data-integration architecture. Experience with: Jobs and Workflows Dataflows Query Transformations Scripts and Functions Data Validation Error Handling Strong SQL skills. Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP source systems. Good understanding of relational databases and data-warehouse concepts. Experience with BODS job monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Experience in data migration, data cleansing, and reconciliation. Experience in AMS L2/L3 support and/or implementation projects. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. S/4HANA & Data Migration Skills or S/4HANA transformation projects, experience in the following would be preferred: SAP ECC to S/4HANA data migration AP HANA integration Data extraction and transformation from legacy applications Master and transactional data migration Data cleansing and validation Data reconciliation Cutover and mock migration activities Understanding of SAP Migration Cockpit and other SAP migration tools
