1. Test Planning & Execution
• Understand business and functional requirements.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Validate recent features and enhancements. 2. Defect Management
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after fixes. 3. Automation Testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Execute automation suites and analyze results.
• Improve test coverage through automation. 4. Quality Assurance Activities
• Participate in requirement and design reviews.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing processes.
• Identify risks and provide quality recommendations. 5. Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Document testing results and defect summaries.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders. 6. Collaboration
• Work with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. 7. Non-Functional Testing (Exposure Level)
• Perform basic API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Support performance, security, and usability testing initiatives.
