We are seeking applications for the position of Transport Planner for upcoming Zonal Development Project in Uttar Pradesh. Missions/Main Duties
• Lead and support the preparation of transportation and mobility plans as part of urban, regional, and infrastructure development projects.
• Undertake traffic and transportation studies, including travel demand analysis, traffic impact assessments, and network performance evaluations.
• Develop sustainable and integrated transport strategies aligned with land-use and development plans.
• Assess existing transportation infrastructure and identify future mobility requirements.
• Prepare recommendations for road networks, public transportation systems, non-motorized transport (NMT) facilities,



parking management, and multimodal integration.
• Conduct traffic forecasting and transport modelling to evaluate alternative development and mobility scenarios.
• Coordinate with urban planners, infrastructure experts, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated planning outcomes.
• Develop proposals for improving accessibility, connectivity, road safety, and transportation efficiency.
• Review transportation-related designs, reports, policies, and technical documents.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, maps, and planning documentation related to transportation and mobility planning. Profile/Skills
• Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in transportation planning and mobility-related projects.
• Proven experience in the preparation of Master Plans, Zonal Development Plans, Land Use Plans, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Plans, Sectoral Plans, Comprehensive Mobility Plans (CMPs), and Transport Improvement Plans.
• Proficiency in transportation modelling and traffic simulation software such as:

• TransCAD
• VISUM
• SIDRA
• Or other equivalent transport planning and modelling tools.
• Solid knowledge of transport planning principles, traffic engineering, and mobility planning frameworks.
• Expertise in traffic analysis techniques, travel demand forecasting, and transportation network assessment.
• Experience in urban transport planning, smart city projects, industrial townships, special economic zones, transit-oriented development (TOD), and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with government agencies, development authorities, metropolitan planning organizations, or international consulting firms.
