Role Description The F&B; Steward is a full time, on-site role based in Dehradun, responsible for supporting daily cafe and service operations. This role includes preparing and serving beverages, assisting with basic coffee preparation tasks under guidance, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across service areas, and ensuring tables, counters, and equipment are well organized. The F&B; Steward will greet and assist guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle basic billing or cash handling as needed. The role also involves following food safety standards, restocking supplies, coordinating with the barista and kitchen team,



and providing a friendly, efficient customer experience. Qualifications
• Service and customer-facing

skills:
ability to interact courteously with guests, handle inquiries, and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operational and hygiene

skills:
capability to maintain cleanliness, follow food safety and sanitation standards, and manage basic setup and closing tasks.
• Communication and teamwork

skills:
clear spoken communication, ability to follow instructions, and collaborate effectively with the barista and kitchen teams.
• Basic F&B; handling

skills:
experience or willingness to learn beverage service, order taking, and simple cash or POS transactions.
• Reliability and work ethic: punctuality, attention to detail, and readiness to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Prior experience in cafes, restaurants, or F&B; service is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks typical of food and beverage service.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent; proficiency in English or Hindi for guest interaction is beneficial.
