SAP TP4 Solution Architect / Technical Engineering Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP TP4 Solution Architect / Technical Engineering Lead to own end-to-end technical architecture and lead engineering execution from solution design through deployment and production support.

The role combines architecture ownership, hands-on development, technical governance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, data architecture, enterprise integration, and security, with experience supporting high-volume production systems.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

SAP Implementation and Core Technical Expertise

- 10+ years of hands-on SAP implementation project experience.
- 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA project experience.
- 5+ years of frontend development experience.
- Robust knowledge of data architecture, modern web technologies, and enterprise integration methods.
- Experience supporting high-volume production environments.
- Expertise in customizing and configuration tables, number ranges, numbering sequences, enqueue and locking mechanisms, RFC integration, authorization objects, SAP workflows, and change and transport management.

ABAP Development

- Object-Oriented ABAP and complex data structures.
- Open SQL, functional programming concepts, and dynamic programming.
- Numbering, locking, debugging, and performance optimization.
- RFC communication,



BAPIs, and web services.
- ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Advanced CDS views.
- OData V2 and V4 services.

SAPUI5 and Fiori

- SAPUI5 and OpenUI5.
- SAPUI5 freestyle application development.
- Fiori Elements.
- SAP Fiori Launchpad.

JavaScript and TypeScript

- JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Asynchronous and reactive programming.
- AJAX and request handling.
- DOM manipulation.

Functional Knowledge

Working knowledge of one or more of the following is mandatory:

- SAP MM.
- SAP SD.
- SAP FI/CO.
- SAP Business Partner (BP).
- SAP Condition Contract Management (CCM).

Preferred Experience

- Functional or technical experience with SAP Trade Promotion Management or another TPM solution.

Key Deliverables

- Technical impact assessments, dependency maps, initial risk assessments, and architecture options.
- Architecture diagrams, Technical Design Documents, interface mappings, and security reviews.
- Completed builds, code-review records, unit-test evidence, build-to-design reviews, and technical debt updates.
- Integrated testing support, defect triage records, traceability, and performance/security validation evidence.
- Transport sequences, deployment checklists, rollback plans, smoke-test plans, and go/no-go inputs.
- Monitoring dashboards, support runbooks, incident triage records, reconciliation evidence, and known-error lists.
