Role Description : As a Test Automation Engineer — SD-WAN / SASE, you will design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts to validate networking and security solutions. Your responsibilities will include
• Develop and maintain Python automation scripts, frameworks, and regression test suites.
• Execute functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests for SD-WAN and SASE solutions.
• Validate L2–L4 networking, including switching, routing, traffic handling, and failover.
• Configure traffic generators, build traffic profiles, and measure throughput, latency, packet loss, & scale.
• Troubleshoot failures using packet captures, logs, and network diagnostic tools.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve test creation, scripting, and failure analysis.



Qualifications
• Solid knowledge of SD-WAN / SASE / NGFW concepts, networking fundamentals, L2–L4 networking, including Ethernet, VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, and UDP.(TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls), and security best practices.
• Strong hands-on Python programming and test automation skills.
• Solid understanding of
• Hands-on experience with traffic generators such as Ixia, Spirent, or TRex, preferably including automation through APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux, REST APIs, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
• Practical familiarity with AI-assisted coding, testing, or debugging.
• Strong analytical skills and ownership of product quality.
• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, including understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in designing, documenting, and maintaining Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing to validate complex scenarios, edge cases, and exploratory tests.
• Practical expertise in QA Automation, including building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a setup from Bengaluru.
