Role Description The Divisional Merchandise Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur, responsible for overseeing merchandising strategy and execution for assigned product categories. This role involves planning seasonal assortments, driving sales and margin performance, and aligning product offerings with market trends and customer requirements. The manager will collaborate closely with design, production, sales, and sourcing teams to develop collections, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Daily activities include analyzing sales reports, monitoring stock performance, optimizing product mix, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.



The role also includes guiding junior merchandising staff, supporting price negotiations, and contributing to long-term business growth through data-driven decisions. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess robust Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders and present merchandising plans clearly.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and relationship management skills to understand buyer needs, respond to inquiries, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Candidates should possess Sales and commercial acumen, with experience in driving category performance, managing margins, and supporting negotiations.
• Candidates should possess Inventory Management and Assortment planning skills to balance stock levels, minimize aged inventory, and build profitable product ranges.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, Business, or a related field are preferred.
• Experience in apparel manufacturing or garment export merchandising, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Excel or merchandising systems will be beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced environment, with solid problem-solving, time management, and decision-making capabilities.
