Thane, Maharashtra Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: Head of Finance Working Arrangement: On-site, with alternate Saturdays working 1. Role SummaryThe Finance Controller will lead the organization's accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective budgeting, and strong internal controls. The role involves overseeing end-to-end accounting, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, taxation, and audit processes. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with strong leadership skills, sound technical knowledge of accounting and taxation, and experience in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. 2.

Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial transactions and reports. B. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance, analyze budget variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to the Head of Finance and senior management.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial performance. C. Cash Flow, Internal Controls & Governance
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and financial forecasting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal control mechanisms.
• Strengthen financial governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.




• Ensure appropriate financial controls across business operations. D. Statutory Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Review financial statements, audit schedules, and statutory filings.
• Support audit readiness and ensure timely resolution of audit observations. E. Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Improve team capabilities, accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Establish standardized processes and promote continuous improvement. 3. Qualifications & Experience
• Postgraduate qualification or MBA in Finance.
• 5–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience as a Finance Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or in a similar financial review and leadership role.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• Robust knowledge of Ind AS, accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills. 4. Location & Reporting
